Property Development Scheme (PDS)

The Property Development Scheme (PDS) is an initiative that enables non-citizens to purchase luxurious residential properties in Mauritius. These developments offer premium living with access to high-end amenities such as leisure, recreational, and management services.

When a non-citizen acquires property under the PDS at a minimum value of USD 375,000, they are granted a residence permit, as long as they hold the property. This permit also extends to the buyer’s spouse and children under 24 years old. Additionally, non-citizens holding a residence permit under PDS are exempt from the need for an Occupation or Work permit to invest and work in Mauritius.
