(a) A holder of an occupation permit as a non-citizen professional is allowed to invest in any business in Mauritius, provided that:

• The individual does not receive any salary or employment benefits from the business.

(b) Additionally, a non-citizen professional with an occupation permit may hold shares in the company where they are employed as long as they are not the majority shareholder.
